DepEd NCR Backs Gender-Responsive Toolkit for Inclusive Learning

On June 23, 2025, at The Bayleaf Intramuros, Manila, DepEd NCR joined the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), CHED, and TESDA in launching the country's first Resource Toolkit on Gender-Responsive Assessment Tools for evaluating instructional materials across all education levels.

This groundbreaking toolkit tackles persistent gender biases in learning resources, aiming to dismantle stereotypes and elevate the visibility of women and marginalized groups. DepEd NCR, led by Asec. Jocelyn DR Andaya, played a key role in shaping its development and reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive education.

Through this initiative, DepEd NCR strengthens its Gender and Development programs and empowers educators to create content that celebrates equity, diversity, and representation.
