As part of the region's mechanism for providing technical assistance and empowering its people, the regional GAD Secretariat, led by Dr. Hajji R. Palmero, CES-HRDD NEAP R, convened the 16 GAD focal persons to prepare for the FY 2025 GPB.

Dr. Rhea B. Eden, the region's GAD focal person, facilitated the meeting, which covered upcoming activities, the agency's GAD initiatives, emerging needs, and issues related to the FY 2025 GPB and GAR. The Regional Office Finance Chief Administrative Officer representative, SDO QC Planning Officer, and SDO GAD focal persons from Caloocan, Las Pinas, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Paranaque, Pasay, Quezon City, San Juan, and Taguig attended the meeting.
