DepEd NCR is strengthening its commitment to gender mainstreaming through capacity building.GAD Regional Training of Trainers (RTOT) | June 19–21, 2024As part of DepEd NCR’s initiative to improve its mechanism in the implementation of GAD programs in the region and as a response to the issuance of DepEd Order No. 002, s. 2024, or the Immediate Removal of Administrative Tasks of Public School Teachers, the Human Resource Development Division (HRDD) conducted a 3-day Regional Training of Trainers. This activity aimed to capacitate all SDO GAD focal persons since the majority are relatively new to managing GAD PPAs and established DepEd NCR GAD pool of trainers to capacitate school principals in the implementation of GAD programs and use various GAD tools. Furthermore, this activity responds to the three priorities of the region, specifically in capacitating School Heads and Teachers, Ensuring a Learner-Centered Environment, and Strengthening Governance.
