An anecdote is a brief, revealing account of an individual person or an incident:[1][2] "a story with a point,"[3] such as to communicate an abstract idea about a person, place, or thing through the concrete details of a short narrative or to characterize by delineating a specific quirk or trait.[4] Occasionally humorous, anecdotes differ from jokes because their primary purpose is not simply to provoke laughter but to reveal a truth more general than the brief tale itself.[citation needed]
Anecdotes may be real or fictional;[5] the anecdotal digression is a common feature of literary works[6] and even oral anecdotes typically involve subtle exaggeration and dramatic shape designed to entertain the listener.[7] An anecdote is always presented as the recounting of a real incident involving actual people and usually in an identifiable place. In the words of Jürgen Hein, they exhibit "a special realism" and "a claimed historical dimension."[8]

Can we utilize Web 3.0 in presenting an anecdote?
Web3 (also known as Web 3.0[1][2][3] and sometimes stylized as web3)[4] is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web based on blockchain technology, which incorporates concepts such as decentralization and token-based economics.[5][6] The term "Web3" was coined in 2014 by Ethereum co-founder Gavin Wood, and the idea gained interest in 2021 from cryptocurrency enthusiasts, large technology companies, and venture capital firms.[7][8]

A man and his deaf wife are having a conversation about what their neighbor Mary said.
Man: Hon let's pack our things and our house, there is a very strong typhoon coming into our country named Lodi.
Wife: What? Lodi is coming. That’s great. I’m going to make spaghetti for her. Commonly, let's go shopping for the ingredients.
Man: But that’s not what I mean. Our neighbor Mary said there will be a very strong typhoon in our country.
Wife: What did I say? Lodi is coming! Let’s welcome her. Common.
Man: Tsk.
Suddenly their daughter approaches them.
Daughter: Dad, don’t panic. Who told you that news?
Man: Mary told me while I’m watering the plants.
Daughter: Just wait let me check it out on the Weather Checker page.
Man: What's that?
Daughter: It's a site for weather updates. Hmmm. Just wait.
After a while…
Daughter: Dad!
Man: What?
Daughter: Just relax, there will be no typhoon coming to our country. Mary is just kidding to frighten you. Don’t believe her.
Man: But she posted it on Facebook about a minute ago.
Daughter: Don’t worry Dad. I’m going to post the truth. Not the fake one. And for everyone to believe, I will indicate the source and reference.
Man: That’s good. Thanks to that page and our internet.
Daughter: See what new technologies can do. Hahaha
Man: What? Where is your mother anyway?
Daughter: I think she’s out shopping. Don’t worry, I'm going to check her GPS. And I think she’s at the mall. Let’s go fetch her.
Man: Wow so fast. Let’s go!

In the anecdote, ICT is used to check facts about a certain issue. And one way to use it in a social movement is by posting or spreading the truth, not the fake one. Posting fake news has a very big impact on the decision of the people. So, THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK.
