COOKERY

This course is designed to develop the students’ competencies in preparing hot, cold meals and desserts for guests in various food and beverage service facilities. A student who has achieved this qualification and awarded National Certificate (NC) is competent to be employed in any of the following positions in the Garde Manger, Pastry or in the Hot Kitchen Section as Cook or Commis and Assistant Cook.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES

This course enhanced the competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities. A person who has achieved this qualification and awarded National Certificate (NC) is competent to be employed as Waitstaff or Food and Beverage Service Attendant.

BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION

This is a TVL – HE track that develops the skills of students in preparing and producing bakery/pastry products, cakes and desserts.

Students of this program are trained in using modern baking techniques, equipment, tools and utensils and other baking appliances. Students are also taught about different presentation methods, sanitation and safety.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING

This course is designed to develop and enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of a Computer Systems Service Technician in accordance with industry standards. It covers basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as installing, maintaining, configuring, and diagnosing computer systems and networks.

This major is designed to provide you with the technical skills and knowledge in dealing with customer interaction center or e-contact center -- is a central point from which all customer interactions across various channels are managed. Their primary purpose is to provide customers with efficient and effective technical support, customer service and sales assistance.

This is an exploratory and introductory course that leads to a Contact Center Services, National Certificate (NC II)
