TLE in the k12 Curriculum will help prepare high school students by arming them with the skills for employment. TLE subject intend students to develop their skills that will help them in their near future. Thus, the teacher engaged them in an experiential, contextualized and authentic learning process. During their earlier years in G7 and G8 is still an exploratory stage wherein student has the chance to explore the four main courses: Home Economics, Agri-Fishery, ICT and Industrial arts. The school can choose a maximum of TLE mini courses in G7 and another 4 in G8 that would also depend on the locality needs and school assets (teachers and available resources) When student reaches the next level in Grade 9, they choose one course to focus on from among the exploratory courses taken. When the student reaches G10, he pursues the TLE specialization course he chose in Grade 9. This allow him to get an NC I or NCII level based on the course he chose. JHS graduates or incoming G11 who wishes to take TVL as specialty in SHS shall continue to earn the NCII that can be used as credentials in applying for a job.
