Cabangan High School lauds the forty two honorees and awardees among the 109 graduates. Among the honorees, Monica May Napod, student of General Academic Strand earned a general average of 95 making her the only graduate with title of With High Honors while 23 other graduates earned the title of With Honors.
Xena Bernadette Navia also tops this year's completers. Only Navia achieved the With High Honors award for getting a general average of 95. Sixty three other students earned the title of With Honors among the 409 completers.
The School Year 2019-2020 ended along with the COVID-19 pandemic resulting to the cancellation of formal graduation and completion ceremonies. A digital video presentation shall soon be released by the school as a way of giving tribute to the graduates and completers of the school.
Joining in a national event for the first time, Juliana Marie Cruz won 2nd runner up in the Singing Idol Competition - Nihongo Category during the National Festival of Talents 2020 which was held at Ilagan, Isabela on March 9- 13.
The Special Program for Foreign Language (SPFL) Skills Competition, as a component of the 2020 National Festival of Talents, serves as a platform of performance tasks and a culminating activity of schools offering SPFL across the country.
The Special Program in Foreign Language in Cabangan High School was introduced to one section in Grade 7 and one section in Grade 10 for the School Year 2019- 2020. The said offering was the counterpart commitment of Shyrine Jacob and Jason Ecal, language teachers who attended series of training in Nihongo. Jhon Raymond Ante and Rechelle Antones also represented Region V for Cosplay and Quiz Whiz for Nihongo, respectively.
Meanwhile, Ian Christopher Gile represented the Bicol Region for Collaborative Desktop Publishing in Filipino (Editorial Cartooning) during the National Schools Press Conference 2020 at Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on March 9- 13 with Sarah May Acabado, the School Publication Adviser as his trainer and Mark Valladolid as the team coach.
