In a move to bridge literacy gaps among learners, the Department of Education (DepEd) is intensifying its campaign on reading proficiency with the unveiling of Hamon: Bawat Bata Bumabasa (3Bs) initiative.

Tuguegarao North Central School strongly supports the 3Bs initiative of DepEd by coming up, too with its special reading project titled Project PORT (Personalized Online/offline Reading Tutorial).        

The project aims to primarily help address the reading difficulties encountered by the identified Grade I to Grade III learners as its recipients. It is hoped further that through the Project PORT, recipients will become good readers in their own respective grade-level and would eventually develop their love in reading for this is the basic tool for lifelong learning.
