Floor Hockey

All of the players grab their hockey sticks in the Dedham Gymnasium. The teams are ready to play. The referees are talking and the players are ready.

Tarkwin says, “I want Africa to win. I want them to win so we don’t have to play against Oceana.”

People chanting, “AFRICA!!”

Parker hits the ball away onto the other side. Brody blocks the shot. Ian picks the ball up and goes over the head. Braedon saves a shot. The refs call a slapstick so there's a face-off. Owen makes a shot for Oceana’s first goal. Braedon makes an amazing save again. Everyone goes into Oceana’s side and there is a little stick to stick. The ball goes down to Africa’s side then back and Ian Boudreau makes the shot with an assist Jake. (1–1). Africa player hard defense. Oran Saar scores. Ian hits the ball, it bounces off a stick and goes flying through the air. Oran Saar accidentally hit the ball up to Africa’s team on the bench.

Halfway through the first quarter. The teams switch out their lineups. Nickelous Wardwell saves an amazing amount of shots. High stick on Ben S. 1st quarter ends. (2-1)

2nd quarter begins with both starting lineups. Braedon with an amazing save. Grady made an amazing shot between Braedon’s legs. The crowd goes wild. Crowd chanting “AFRICA!!” Brody with an amazing save with his foot. Jake fouls on purpose.

(2-2) New line up again. Nick Wardwell makes multiple amazing saves.

(2-2) Game starts with the starting lineup. Evan makes another shot. Braedon saves another shot. Ian stops the ball. Unfortunately, he was in the crease. Oran with a push. Ian and Oran are back in the game. Brody saves another shot. Jake makes a point to tie the game. The crowd goes wild. Mrs. Kearns calls a timeout for Oceana. Ms. Byard calls a timeout for Africa.

(3-3) There is a 5-minute Sudden Death round. Evan and Ian both play with the ball going back and forth across the court. The ball is stuck in the corner. Face off against Laura and Abby. Brody with an amazing save. The Sudden Death ends.

(3-3) It’s time for Penalty Shots. Both teams choose their 5 players. The crowd chanted over and over “AFRICA!!” Ben S. with the first shot made. Evan makes his team's first shot. Chloe made her team’s 2nd shot. Kiersten and Abby miss their shots. Grady missed his shot as well. Laura missed her team’s shot. Ian missed his team’s shot as well. Eve missed her shot as well. The end game score is (5-4)

In conclusion, This game was a very stressful game. Many people wanted Africa to win and many people wanted Oceana to win. The winner of the game was Oceana.

Floor Hockey Europe V.S Oceanic

Teams both start by huddling up, they yell their chant then they get in positions. Next Mr. Pearson drops the ball. The crowd cheers as the game starts.

Joey says “I think the Oceanic team is going to win because Evan has good experience.”

Meanwhile Evan is taking a lot of shots but then Oran gets the ball and swings his stick and goal. Oceanic leads 1-0. Both teams hustling hard but Evan takes a shot and Goal! Oceanic leads 2-0.

Both teams are hustling hard, Europe is having a hard time getting the ball out of their side. Malcolm is blocking shots and then the 5 minute buzzer goes off subs in.

The lignup is completely different now. Braiden is Oceanics new goalie he puts on his glasses and he’s ready. It’s a good thing braiden cause two shots came at him and he blocked both of them. Tanner of europe then high sticks so now he is in the penalty box for 1 minute. Dj is now out and Trae returns from a shoe violation. Natalie and Trae were taking shots but they weren't going in.

Mrs. Robinson says “It's a pretty good match”.

Then the buzzer goes off for the first quarter now the starters are back in. Anson in goal for Europe and Nick for Oceania. Then taking shots on Nick then Oceani clears it and Oran shoots and GOALLL!!!! 3-0 Oceanic, next anson blocks a shot. Ball going back and forth But shots won’t go in. Now subs are in. Denali says “it’s a good game.” Then DJ scores a goal and now it is 3-1 Oceanic. Then Counters that with a goal now 4-1 Oceanic. Dj then fell on purpose so he's now in the box for a minute. Now Europe comes back and Julia gets a goal. DJ came back in and took shots on Nick but he blocked them, then the period ended. Subs in and teams all taking good shots. Oran then high sticks and now he's in the box. Oran comes back in and immediately scores a goal now it is 5-2, after that Evan gets the ball tips it back to Oran and another score now 6-2. Then Evan scores AGAIN! Now 7-2 and the win is looking good for Oceana. Now the buzzer goes off and subs are in with exactly 5 minutes left in the quarter. Now Chloe with a high stick and 1 min penalty, next Dj with a high stick and another penalty. Now the clock drains and no more goals just back and forth, and then GAME OVER. 7-2 oceanic now Europe will play staff and Oceana will play Africa. The goals were scored by 1 Dj, 1 Natalie, 3 Evan, 3 Oran and 1 Laura.
