Although rather extreme in the sense that the family moves off the grid to Alaska in the 1970s, this book strikes a chord with the isolation that has been a part of COVID-19 and the push to live more simply. There are some additional factors such as PTSD from a POW that hopefully we don't have to face, but an interesting perspective on life nonetheless.
