In this book, Ruha Benjamin explores the inherent racism baked into the algorithms behind the technology that we use everyday and the ways in which our technology deepens social inequities. This book has encouraged me to think critically about how technology is used and designed, and makes me eager to work with students in designing new technology that incorporates diverse ideas and equitable experiences.
