The AristotleK12 Educator Training - 2024 is a self-paced online course designed to give K-12 educators full competency in the AristotleK12 EdTech platform. Staff dashboards to track CEUs earned through DPI and local PD course modules, and varied PD learning opportunities; .
The PD office provides the ability to:
Create and manage local professional learning opportunities and track CEUs;
Share local PD/CEU opportunities with other PSUs for regional or shared events.
Transfer Credit Manager – manages approvals for CEUs earned outside of the district to show on staff transcripts
PSUs are given access to NCEES Professional Learning PD office component for $1/ADM (this fee also includes access to Schoolnet)
How much credit will I receive? .1 CEU of general credit which is equal to 1 hour of credit (10 hours of credit equal to 1 CEU) will be awarded after each live webinar. Credit will not be awarded to On-Demand Webinars
North Carolina’s Computer Science Teaching Professional Learning Program (NC-CS-PLP) aims to help students learn computer science concepts and gain skills to actively engage as informed participants in a technology-driven world. NCDPI and the North Carolina State Board of Education have added computer science to the North Carolina graduation requirements and created the first K-12 computer science standards for North Carolina.
NCCAT Online is freely available to all PreK-12th grade North Carolina licensed educators at no additional cost to you or your district. NCCAT Online Courses are self-paced CANVAS modules where participants can earn 5 or 10 contact hours, depending on the number of assignments participants are asked to complete.
Learn at your own pace and get officially certified with courses that range in topics like gamification, project based learning, Flipping the classroom, 21st century learning, personalized learning and much more. Courses range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes in length.
