DCS provides district-wide software platforms to support instruction. The chart shows a list of these programs by grade span. The district also provides the following platforms to all levels:
Infinite Campus
SchoolNet
Canvas LMS Teachers
Follett Destiny
Promethean Active Inspire
DCS also provides Swank Motion Pictures Movie Licensing USA. This provides public performance licensing to legally bring the magic of movies to K-12 schools across Davie County. This licensing satisfies federal copyright requirements to allow you to show movies from the world’s best studios, anywhere inside of your building.
DCS has implemented the following procedure for reviewing software purchases. Here are the guidelines:
Reviews will be conducted three times per year
June: First-semester implementation
October: Second-semester implementation
February: End-of-year budget consideration
All products must be approved and budgeted by the Principal or Department Director.
Fill out the DCS Curriculum & Software Request Form for all curriculum and software programs for district approval prior to use.
