Davie County Schools has implemented the High Reliability Schools (HRS) system, a framework designed to enhance the quality of education and create a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment for all learners. Davie County Schools is a professional learning community committed to continuous improvement, and HRS is a key step in achieving that goal.
What is the High Reliability Schools System?
The High Reliability Schools system is a research-based framework developed by Dr. Robert J. Marzano, designed to help schools foster excellence in teaching and learning. It focuses on five levels of reliability:
Davie County Schools is building the foundation of becoming a High Reliability District by focusing on the first three levels of the framework. This is evident in our Strategic Plan and in the Curriculum & Instruction Focus Areas that have been established.
