Beginning Teacher Academy: August 11-12, 2025

The Davie County Schools Beginning Teacher Academy 2025 spans two days of orientation and NCEES training, aimed at equipping new teachers with essential knowledge and support. Day 1 includes a warm welcome, introductions, and sessions on the district's strategic plan, BT support resources, technology setup, and the NC Standard Course of Study, followed by a panel discussion with experienced teachers and an interactive Goosechase activity. Day 2 focuses on understanding and navigating the NCEES standards and platform, with additional sessions on instructional frameworks, classroom environment, social media best practices, and self-care, concluding with insights from a Principal/AP panel and professional educational organizations. 

E3 Academy: August 13, 2025

The E³ Academy 2025 (Engage, Equip, Empower) is a full-day orientation for new teachers in Davie County Schools, scheduled for Wednesday, August 13h. The day begins with a light breakfast and a presentation on the district's strategic plan, followed by an introduction to the new teachers. The agenda includes a series of rotations covering essential topics such as support services, instructional frameworks, technology access, and professional development opportunities. After lunch, sessions focus on the PLC process, Canvas Learning Management System, and literacy and math components. The day concludes with a panel discussion featuring district leaders and experienced teachers, followed by a closing activity.
