How to Add a Community Learning Agreement (CLA):
Log in with your Davidson College email and password on the BWBRS login page. Click here.
💡 Tip from a Bonner Scholar: Save your password on your account so this process is quicker.
This will take you to the main page. Go to the left side menu and click on Community Learning Agreements.Â
On the top, right-side drop down menu, click the down arrow. Under Available Actions, click on Add a Community Learning agreement.Â
This will take you to a list of Service partners and positions. Find your Service Partner and Position from this list.Â
Ensure you're in the correct semester by clicking on the drop down menu in the top middle of the page.Â
If you cannot find your service partner listed, you must use this form to propose it be added to BWBRS. Once your form is approved, a Bonner program staff member will add it to BWBRS. You will receive a notification from Wildcat Sync when it is approved. Then return to BWBRS to follow the steps listed above to add it to the list.Â
Position Information
The example, shows Ada Jenkins Center as the Service Partner and Student Volunteer as the Position.Â
Positions usually have a description. Bonners should review the Position Description and alter it to best describe your position.Â
If the Position does not have a description, it should be added along with your role, and hours per week.Â
For My Role, select the option that best fits your position.
If you are doing any fundraising as part of the position, enter that as a percentage.
Stay on the same page for the next step.Â
Primary Objective You must fill out the Primary Objective.Â
Select the General Issue Area, Specific Issue Area, Population Served, and Objective that best fits your organization and position.Â
Enter your service goal by number of hours, individuals, or projects you plan to complete in total that semester and then choose how it will be measured.
Add a brief but detailed description of your objective.Â
A Secondary Objective is encouraged but not mandatory. If you select any information within the Secondary Objective box, you must fill out all bolded prompts.
Stay on the same page for the next step.
Learning Goals
Finally, select two learning goals from the drop down menus.Â
Add a brief but detailed description of 1 to 3 sentences. Do not forget to click Save.Â
After you click Save, BWBRS will return to an overview of your CLAs over the years. Check to ensure your latest entry is listed as Proposed.Â
Hours can be logged before the CLA is approved by Bonner professional staff. However, do not submit your Service Accomplishments before your CLA is approved.
