1 Semester - 9, 10, 11, & 12th Graders

Description: Through the projects chosen, the students develop knowledge of craftsmanship, proper work habits, and technical skills. Expectations: Students will assume responsibility for selecting suitable projects. They will progress as rapidly as their individual abilities and interests will allow.

Course Objectives:

  1. To develop advanced skills use of woodworking tools and machines.
  2. To make students more knowledgeable about the design and construction of woodworking hand tools and machinery.
  3. To make students more aware, as consumers, of wood and wood products.
  4. To acquaint students with job opportunities in woodworking
