About Me:

I received my bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from CCSU and my masters degree in Environmental Science from UNH. I've been teaching at the high school level at the since 2005. This is my first year teaching at Darien High School , but taught for 17-years at Old Saybrook High School and The Morgan School. I enjoy working with my colleagues at DHS and creating as many hands on opportunities for the students of DHS as possible that they may not otherwise have had the chance to do so.

I worked as a Materials Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft for almost 20-years, working on Blackhawk and Seahawk helicopters. I also worked at United Nuclear Corporation working as a Structural Engineer on nuclear reactors for US Navy Submarines.

I have four children (3 girls, 1 boy and 3 dogs),I enjoy spending time with my children and three dogs. We love going to Colorado and spent our Christmas last year in the Rocky Mountains.
