Hello families,
🐾🌟 School Newsletter Update! 🌟🐾
We had an incredible time at Career Day! Our students were engaged, inspired, and excited as they learned about a wide variety of careers and heard from amazing presenters who shared their experiences and advice. It was truly a successful event, and we are so proud of the curiosity and enthusiasm our students showed throughout the day.
We’ve also made it to our last day before Spring Break — what an accomplishment! Thank you to our students, staff, and families for all of your hard work and support.
We hope you all have a fun, relaxing, and safe break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on March 23rd, refreshed and ready for the rest of the school year!
Warm regards,

This week, Ms. Low and Ms. Rhodes met with teachers to hold data conferences focused on reviewing our STAAR results. During these meetings, teachers shared their individualized STAAR Action Plans, which outline the targeted small-group instruction and supports they will provide based on recent mock STAAR data.
These action plans are designed to address specific student needs, strengthen skill gaps, and ensure every child receives focused support in the areas where they need it most. Our teachers are being intentional, strategic, and student-centered in their planning.
We are excited to see the impact of these focused efforts and look forward to the growth and success our students will achieve as a result!
Career Day Success! 🎓
We had a wonderful College and Career Day at school! Our students had the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals representing a wide variety of careers. These experiences help students begin thinking about their future goals, discover new interests, and understand the many pathways available to them.
Experiences like Career Day help students begin building college and career awareness, an important part of preparing them for their future.
We encourage families to continue the conversation at home! Asking a few thoughtful questions can help students reflect on what they learned and deepen their curiosity about future careers.
Here are a few questions you might ask your child:
Which career presentation did you enjoy the most and why?
What was something new you learned about a job today?
Was there a career that surprised you or made you curious to learn more?
What skills do you think people need to be successful in that job?
Did the speaker share any advice for students?
These conversations help students begin to see the connection between school, interests, and future opportunities.
We are incredibly grateful to the many guest speakers and volunteers who generously gave their time to inspire our students. Their willingness to share their experiences helped make the day truly special.
As we head into the break, we wish all of our families a safe, restful, and joyful Spring Break! We look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready for the remainder of the school year.
Enjoy the time together! 🌷
Kindly,
Counselor Litton
Spring Events Update
This past Saturday’s Dance was such a fun and successful event. We loved seeing our community come together and our kids having a blast!
Since events like this require tremendous planning and volunteer support to run smoothly, we’ve made the tough call not to include Wheelie Fun Night in our Spring calendar of events this year. We’re excited to share that there are still plenty of fun community events planned this Spring! We hope to see everyone at all of the upcoming PTO Spring events!
Summer Breeze 2026 is your student’s ticket to a summer filled with learning, laughter, and new adventures. Offered throughout June and July, the District, along with our community partners, brings exciting hands-on programs to designated campuses and locations across the community.
