Chica chica bum

Está semana leímos el texto Chica chica bum y aprendimos sobre las letra en nuestros nombres. Hemos escrito un libro del salón con todos los nombres de nuestros compañeros, formamos un cocetero como en el libro con las letras de nuestro nombre y hicimos conexciones al texto recordando una vez cuando también nosotros nos hemos lastimado como las letras del libro. Al final de la semana leímos otro texto de Chica chica 1 2 3 pero sobre los números. También formamos números con una nueva curricula llamada "Handwriting without Tears" que nos ayudara a formar letras y números.

This week we read the text Chica chica bum and learned about the letters in our names. We wrote a class book with all our friends names, formed a coconut tree like in the text using the letters in our names, and made connections to the text about a time we also hurt ourselves like the letters in the story. At the end of the week we read another story about Chica chica 1 2 3 but with numbers. We also formed numbers as part of our new curriculum called Handwriting without Tears that will help us form letters and numbers.
