TO-SERVE (Technical Opportunities to Support, EmpoweR, and Value the Community) Project mainly aims to equip unemployed individuals with competency, skill, or knowledge in basic computer operations and servicing to ensure their employment or the establishment of their micro-enterprise.

The Extension Services Office and the Department of Industrial and Information Technology (DIIT) of Cavite State University – Carmona Campus successfully conducted the webinar “TechPATH: Empowering Communities through Digital Navigation and Online Safety” on June 19, 2025, as part of the CvSUCCESS’ TO-SERVE Project.
The program opened with the Prayer, National Anthem, Cavite Hymn, and Carmona Hymn, followed by an audio-visual presentation. Dr. Regene G. Hernandez, chairperson of DIIT, formally welcomed participants through his opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of strengthening community digital literacy.
The learning sessions began with Topic 1: Digital File Management, delivered by Asst. Prof. Richard L. Hernandez, industry expert, who guided participants on organizing, storing, and securing digital files. After a short break, the webinar proceeded to Topic 2: Online Safety and Cyber Awareness, handled by Ms. Jackelyn Murallon, BSIT Alumna, where participants learned about the ways to protect personal information and avoid online threats.
In the afternoon, Mr. January V. Hofileña, BSIT student, facilitated Topic 3: Getting to Know the Internet, which covered discussions on browsing, search strategies, and effective online navigation. This was followed by Topic 4: Digital Citizenship and Netiquette, delivered by Ms. Jamaica Ann Santos, DAS faculty extensionist, which highlighted responsible online behavior and the role of individuals in fostering safe, respectful digital communities.
The webinar also featured interactive Q&A sessions, post-discussions, and practical sharing of experiences, giving participants opportunities to clarify concepts and engage with the speakers. The day concluded with the awarding of certificates, closing remarks by Mr. Jhumel C. Ignas, project leader of TO-SERVE and extension coordinator of DIIT, and the CvSU Hymn.
The success of the webinar was made possible through the collective support of DIIT faculty, alumni, and student extensionists, along with the dedication of Ms. Kianna Dominique Alvarez, who served as moderator. This initiative reaffirmed CvSU Carmona’s commitment to equipping communities with essential digital skills for safe and responsible technology use.
