Project KPKNan (Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad para sa KapakaNan ng PWDs) mainly aims to equip differently-abled persons with competency, skill, or knowledge in human resources and business opportunities and strategies to ensure their employment or the establishment of their micro-enterprises.

The Extension Services Office and Department of Management of Cavite State University (CvSU) – Carmona Campus, in partnership with the City Government of Carmona, under CvSUCCESS’ Project KPKNan (Kaagapay sa Pag-unlad para sa KapakaNan ng PWDs) successfully organized a series of extension activities aimed at equipping students and professionals with essential career skills. These activities provided participants with valuable insights into resume writing, interview techniques, confidence-building, and effective communication.
The first event, Let's Get Hired: Crafting and Mastering Interview for Career Success held on December 12, 2024, focused on enhancing participants' abilities to create industry-standard resumes and develop strong interview skills. Participants gained insights into the fundamentals of resume writing, tailoring their applications to current industry expectations, and mastering interview techniques. The event also emphasized proper post-interview etiquette to increase hiring success rates.
On December 13, 2024, the Enhancing Self-Efficacy 2: Developing Communication and Self-Confidence Skills session was held, recognizing the importance of communication in career growth. This activity helped participants enhance their self-awareness and confidence by strengthening communication skills, identifying personal strengths, and overcoming self-doubt.
Continuing the initiative, Empower Yourself: Enhancing Self-Confidence through Effective Communication took place on December 16, 2024. This seminar aimed to empower individuals by addressing self-doubt and limiting beliefs, fostering resilience, and improving communication and presentation skills. Participants learned techniques to boost confidence and develop a strong professional presence in the workplace.
The final session, Enhancing Self-Efficacy 1: Mastering Resume Construction and Interview Success Tips, was conducted on December 20, 2024. This event reinforced the significance of self-efficacy in the job search process. Participants were guided on structuring compelling resumes, preparing effectively for job interviews, and building confidence to excel in their careers.
The success of these activities was made possible through the expertise of our distinguished speakers: Dr. Maria Andrea C. Francia, Dr. Carlo Emil B. Mañabo, Ms. Ruselle Laurito, and Ms. Mary Rose D. Gregorio.
These extension activities provided an excellent platform for individuals to develop career-ready skills, boost their self-confidence, and refine their communication abilities. The Department of Management and the Extension Services Office remain committed to empowering students and professionals through initiatives that prepare them for the ever-evolving job market.
