Cavite State University (CvSU) – Carmona Campus successfully held the inception meeting for the CvSUCCESS extension program on October 1, 2024, via Google Meet. This event gathered key stakeholders to kick off the program, providing a platform to introduce its objectives, activities, and strategic plans.
The meeting began with a heartfelt prayer delivered through an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP), setting a reflective tone for the event. Mr. Antonino Jose L. Bayson, who served as the moderator, then facilitated the introduction of attendees, fostering a warm and collaborative atmosphere among participants.
Ms. Janine B. Bacosmo, co-program leader of CvSUCCESS, led the main presentation through an AVP. Her comprehensive overview outlined the program’s key goals, scheduled activities, budgetary requirements, and the composition of the organizational team, providing attendees with a clear roadmap for the initiative.
Following the presentation, the floor was opened for an interactive forum. Representatives from the Extension Services Center, led by Dr. Racquel G. Agustin, director of Extension Services, facilitated discussions. This session allowed participants to share their insights, raise questions, and explore collaborative opportunities that could strengthen the program’s implementation.
Mr. Joselito F. Ersando, head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, provided crucial reminders and guidelines concerning the submission of reports and documentation required for the extension program, ensuring everyone was aligned with CvSUCCESS' operational processes.
In her message of support, Dr. Agustin highlighted the vital role of extension programs in fostering community development. She expressed her gratitude to all participants for their dedication to CvSUCCESS and reinforced the University’s commitment to the program’s objectives.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Cristina M. Signo, campus administrator and program leader of CvSUCCESS, who shared her optimism regarding the program’s potential impact on local communities. She reiterated the institution’s mission to actively engage in meaningful outreach initiatives that drive positive change.
This inception meeting marks the formal beginning of the CvSUCCESS extension program, signaling the start of a series of transformative activities aimed at empowering underrepresented sectors.
