Volunteer Sign-Up

Committee Sign ups:

  • Uniforms - Fit students for marching band and concert band, maintain uniform room, place new orders when necessary

  • Trailers/equipment - Coordinate truck/trailer needs for each event

  • Band Camp food - Plan menus, prepare food, and coordinate volunteers for the 2 week band camp

  • Competition food prep - When applicable, collect donations of food for competitions

  • Hospitality - Pick up and prepare cookies and punch for post-concert gatherings

  • Spring Banquet- Plan and carry out Spring banquet

  • Pictures/Photographer- Coordinate with photographer and director for marching band and concert band photos

  • Senior Night - Coordinate with director, students, and parents to have senior banners made, names read aloud, and flowers for parents

  • Winter Guard - Coordinate with guard director and band director to plan transportation and hotels

  • Concert admission - Collect concert admissions prior to concerts

  • Italian Fest - Plan shell stuffing and sauce making, coordinate with city for permits, assign volunteer slots

  • Concessions - Coordinate volunteers, work football games to sell concessions

  • Sponsorship drive - Visit local businesses to sell ad space and sponsorships for marching banner and trailer graphics

  • Spaghetti Dinner - Coordinate sauce making, ticket making/distribution, silent auction/raffle/wine pull

  • Tag Days - Coordinate student and parent volunteers, assign positions, collect donations at designated times

  • Trivia Night - Plan and carry out event, reserve space, coordinate theme, sell tables

  • Gateway Marching Classic - Coordinate with Mr. DeLeon on a variety of needs
