Winter Guard

The CHS Varsity Winter Guard program is an audition based group made up of 16-22 selected students. Auditions occur in early November and rehearsals start mid-November and are open to all interested students (no experience required). This group focuses on visual performance and artistry set to music presented on a tarp, usually accompanied by flag, rifle, and sabre choreography.

The Winter Guard rehearses primarily in the Webster Elementary gymnasium. The group competes in the Mid-Continental Color Guard Association (MCCGA) circuit in Scholastic AA and has participated in Winter Guard International (WGI) in the past.
