The American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS) is a national honor society recognizing outstanding scientific research by high school students across the U.S. AJAS meets annually in conjunction with The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the largest scientific organization in the world. AJAS delegates are exposed to cutting-edge research and have the opportunity to interact with world renowned scientists.
From February 12 - February, 16 2025, the following HTHS students attended the 2025 AJAS/AAAS Annual meeting in Boston, MA as delegates from the New Jersey Academy of Science 2024 Fair: All delegates had an astract published in the AAAS Meeting Proceedings and presented their work in a poster session that was part of the AAAS conference.
