In Adriel's opinion, the best nurses can continually adapt to the ever-changing patient care technologies of the clinical setting.

This is why Adriel purchased a subscription to Nursing Central™. Nursing Central™ is a digital platform that gives nurses the ability to look up medications, side effects, and care plans all at the click of a button. They also have guidelines on how to use to new medical technologies. For example, Adriel has used it in the past to review the use of ECG monitors for infants.

Access to Nursing Central™ allows Adriel to have a wealth of nursing information at his fingertips at all times, thus improving his nursing practice. When he was at clinical and needed to look up information, he would simply double check the application on his phone to justify his interventions. Using smartphones and applications is how Adriel stays current in the healthcare field.

Adriel is also highly experienced in using Cerner™ to chart patient information into electronic health records. Adriel has spent hours using this advanced information system to not only chart data, but for communication with other members of the healthcare team. For example, Adriel could update orders for pharmacy and contact physicians through the Cerner™ interface.
