It's almost the 5 year anniversary from my first ever blog post. I'll be honest, I really thought I would update this blog more often. Shout out to all the fans of my blog for following me throughout the years. It's been a crazy ride.

I got a website!
I've been dreaming of this day since I was an acne-covered, prepubescent teenager. Now I'm older, I'm wiser, and I'm sure puberty will be coming any day now.
After countless months of researching web design, learning basic coding, and playing with the various software, I came to the realization that I have no talent and zero training in building websites. Luckily, my love for podcasts and their commercials pointed me in the direction of Squarespace. It's the digital equivalent of paying a kid to do your homework for you.
I think it's a great alternative to Facebook. For me, Facebook began to lose its appeal when the generation before me started using it. "What are you doing on Facebook, Grandpa!? You should be looking at a sunset and telling me about the good ole days." Honestly, I don't use Facebook because I like it, it's just been the only option for so long. Now I just get creeped out when Facebook comes up with a new way to make us surrender privacy. "With the click of a mouse, you can let everyone know where you are at all times!". Yay!
However, the digital world is changing and eventually everyone will have their own website. The truest expression of somebody's personality online won't be their "likes page" or their Instagram photos. It will be through their own website they built from the ground up; one that melds our favorite things from the rest of the Internet.
You'll be able to add your friends' websites to your website. There will be website to website hangouts, utilizing interwebal communication in the webisphere. Inevitably, cyber perverts will find a way to get our websites to have sex with each other. After that, our brains will be connected by tubes and we'll be able to visit each others dreams. It sounds absurd, but if I'm right, I'll use this blog entry as proof of my psychic powers.
As I see it, I have 2 choices: Get on board, or let this wave of new technology sweep me into obscurity. I believe websites are here to stay, and I'm happy you found my little corner of the Internet. Here you'll find my videos, photos, blogs, and whatever I think of posting. You should check them out and then do something productive.
