The lessons below are provided for the high school classroom. However, a teacher must use his or her discretion to determine if the text (written text, art, media, video, etc.) and the topics are appropriate for use in his or her classroom. Even though all lessons are vetted for alignment of the standards, some of the readings included in the lessons have been edited in order to ensure that the material is appropriate for high school use. Therefore, it is suggested that the text within the lessons is used instead of pulling the same text from another source.
