If someone did the new student registration but should have done the returning student registration (because they had a snapcode), can we switch them from one to the other?
No. You will need to discard the new student registration {select the student, under tasks select discard} and have them use the snapcode to complete the returning student registration.
If you accidentally approve someone, can you take it back?
Yes. When you are in the approved view you can select the student you want to unapprove (by checking beside the student name) and selecting the Reset to Pending Approval task.
Why am I getting an error when I try to email a Snapcode that says "already been notified by email"?
It's because you didn't uncheck the box at the top of the email page that says: Exclude records for which this email has previously been sent.
Why do families need to create an Powerschool (formerly InfoSnap) account?
Most Powerschool solutions are multiple-page forms that require families to create an account, though there are certain cases with single page forms where no account is needed. Having an account allows families to save their progress and return to complete a form at a later date, or access the confirmation page of a submitted form. Having families store their child's and family's information within a passworded account ensures the security of that information.
Why do families need an email address to create their account?
Email will be the medium for all major communications between Powerschool and the family. These communications include the new account creation email and the submission confirmation email, among others.
