There are three main steps to delivering records:
Batch delivery is recommended in most cases, but certain important scenarios are better served by delivering records singly, with human review. The API accommodates both approaches.
Delivering a Batch of Records via the API (Delivery Screen)
3. Click the Create Delivery Batch button.
4. Once the box appears and has finished processing, click Close.
5. Click the Deliver all Records link on the right.
6. Once the records have finished processing an analysis of the records processed and the records that were skipped will be displayed. Click View Errors to see which records were skipped and why. Click Close to proceed.
7. Records that need manual work will remain in your delivery batch.
The color of the orb indicates if the system was able to match the record to another already in the database and what action must be taken to prevent duplicates from being created.
8. Most of the remaining records are likely there because potential duplicates were detected for the student or a contact. For each orange orb click the Match button.
9. If the person already exists in the database click Select next to their record. If the person does not exist select No Match at the bottom of the screen.
10. If you select a match, the orange orb will become green, if no match was found, the orange will become gray.
11. Scroll through each record using the arrows at the top.
12. Once all orange orbs for all records have been resolved, meaning they are all now gray or green, click the Deliver all Records link again.
13. Click Close Delivery Batch in the upper right of the screen.
