When records won't deliver the issue is usually because what is in PowerSchool Enrollment does not match what is in eSchool. Below are some examples of some common errors that happen when trying to deliver a record.
In PowerSchool Enrollment, the parent entered the student's name like this:
They put the JR in the wrong location, but the real issue is that in eSchool, the generation was not listed:
So if the case was that the JR really isn't on the birth certificate, you would need to delete that information off of the line in PowerSchool Enrollment by going to the paper and pencil icon to open the record up to edit, deleting that information from the last name field, and then saving.
If the Jr IS on the birth certificate, you need to make sure that it's listed in eSchool in the Generation field, and then go into PowerSchool Enrollment and move the JR from the last name field to the drop down for Stu_Suffix and then save.
Here is another example that would fail to deliver. This time the issue is the middle name. The parent added an apostrophe at the end of the student's name:
But the apostrophe was not entered in eSchool.
If there is an apostrophe on the birth certificate, it needs to be added to eSchool. If not, it should be deleted from the PowerSchool Enrollment record.
Both of these two examples above will keep a record from delivering into PowerSchool Enrollment when the time comes. By making sure that the information in PowerSchool Enrollment matches what you have in eSchool, you can cut down on the time you spend going through records that won't deliver trying to figure out what is wrong.
This example won't keep a record from delivering but will add unneeded information into eSchool when the record is delivering.
If a parent adds the street type to the street field, please just delete that information and save so that the address delivered will only say "2308 South Kendal Green Cir" instead of "2308 South Kendal Green Cir Cir".
