Lead by the wise and skillful ChuChuya Chuya the mousekin of New Valoria work tirelessly to defend and improve the town against all odds.
Sadly, due to their small size and extremely delicious make-up they have many, many enemies. No mousekin settlements last very long. Whenever they try to form communities, bigger, meaner monster come along and eat them all. Fortunately with their newfound Valorian allies Mousekin are finally able to settle down and thrive.
These mousekin were part of a settlement they called Chunuzzlebra, far north and east of goodberry. Alas, a great evil they call Slithering Death arrived one day with its minions, The Stinkers, and killed, ate, and mousenapped most of the populace, the surviving mousekin scattering in all directions. The first 7 mousekin the Valorians encountered were refugees from this attack, captured by Fishkin as they stopped for water along the river. The mousekin love their Valorian saviors and will do whatever they can to aid them and foster good relations. With the Slithering Death defeated and many of their kind rescued they can at last focus on building a culture and community of their own.
Races do not provide stat bonuses or penalties. Instead add +2 to one stat, +1 to a second stat, and -1 to a third stat after performing point buy. Valorians can instead choose to add +1 to all six stats.
Mousekin are a playable race. Both the meadow guard and softpaw subraces are available.

Mousekin worship nature spirits and the spirits of famous Mousekin heroes. Many have come to revere Pelor as their god of life, and the Raven Queen as their goddess of death. Their favorite deity is Avandra as they highly value luck and the arts.

Mousekin are expert rangers and rogues, favoring the Rogue: Thief path above all others. Mousekin also love the bard class. Mousekin have proven quite frail against hard hitting opponents and generally avoid melee combat whenever possible.
