Bardic magic is unique in that very little formal training is required. Bards are the historians, healers, teachers, spies, and entertainers of New Valorian. Their many skills allow them to fill many different roles, but almost always ones that offer support. Bards are a welcomed site in towns and adventuring parties. Despite mentions of colleges, the bards of New Valoria are more often than not self taught individuals, though Lore Bards gravitate towards the Mages Guild.

Faith and Violence are two major parts of Valorian culture. The monastic tradition of monks is long standing and well respected. Monks have yet to establish a firm foothold in the new world and the native races that have joined New Valoria show little interest in the class. Perhaps in time they will gain in interest and influence.
