Presentational: I can write an outline or draft of a presentation that I plan to present orally.

This quarter, students will explore the city of Madrid through reading Excursión al Reina Sofia.Â
Quarter 2 Objectives: Intermediate Low
Interpretive: I can identify the topic and related information from simple sentences in short fictional texts.
Interpersonal: I can exchange information about the types of music and movies people prefer.Â
Presentational: I can give a series of reasons why an art or music style is appealing to me.Â
Theme for Q3
This quarter, students will read or listen to biographies of Spaniards and discuss their own childhoods and memories.
Quarter 3 Objectives: Intermediate Low
Interpretive: I can understand and interpret written and spoken texts in the past tense related to childhood experiences, such as stories, anecdotes, and historical events.Â
Interpersonal: I can engage in conversational exchanges using the past tense to discuss childhood memories, compare experiences, and express emotions related to their childhood.Â
Presentational: I can create and present narrations, skits, or presentations in the past tense, describing their childhood, family life, and significant events.Â

This quarter, students will explore different musical styles found within Spain and in other countries where Spanish is spoken. They will practice asking for recommendations or advice and willÂ
