Assessment Calendar:
Interpretive Assessment: One assignment every week, usually on Wednesdays. One assessment every other week on Fridays. This assessment happens up to 5 times per quarter.
Presentational Assessment: One assignment every week, usually on Mondays. One assessment every other week on Thursdays or Fridays. This assessment happens up to 4 times per quarter.
Interpersonal Assessment: One assignment every two weeks, usually on Thursdays. One assessment every other week on Wednesdays. This assessment happens up to 4 times per quarter, depending on the quarter length and the unit content.

Quarter 1, Objectives and Unit 1: Review of Multiple Topics (Unit 2)
We are preparing our Arabic learners to take the STAMP Language Test (4S) provided by CPS in mid-March to obtain the State of Illinois Path for the Seal of Biliteracy.
In preparation for this academic year's STAMP test for 8th grade, we are reviewing multiple topics in Unit 2, such as Weather, Pastimes, and My Neighborhood, Physical and Personality Descriptions.
Quarter 2, Objectives and Unit 2: Review of Multiple Topics (Unit 3)
We are preparing our Arabic learners to take the STAMP Language Test (4S) provided by CPS in mid-March to obtain the State of Illinois Path for the Seal of Biliteracy.
In preparation for this academic year's STAMP test for 8th grade, we are reviewing multiple topics in Unit 3, such as Sanitization and Hospitalization, Social Media Platforms, and Schooling and Education Programs.

Quarter 4, Objectives and Unit 4: Landforms of Egypt

Speaking: I can give a series of reasons why an art or music style is appealing to me.
I can converse and compare significant places and landforms in Egypt. I can converse about some of the landforms, animals, planning, and simple weather in Egypt.
Interpretive
I can understand when someone describe his/her house rooms and activities happen in each room of the house.
I can recognize and identify Places around Egypt. Label and explain things on the Egyptian map. I can comprehend an authentic video talking about the names of landforms in Egypt.
I can recognize and identify landforms when I hear them or see them written.
Presentational
I can meet limited basic practical writing needs using lists, short messages,
postcards, and simple notes.
Present landforms, locations, and directions on a map. I can give a tour of Egypt showing landforms, animals, planting, and weather.
