Hello! My name is Emily Simon! This is my first full year at Cove. Before this, I co-taught in the junior high and led a high school literacy class. I am very excited to be teaching in the Junior High this year! 

Before begining my carrer, I studied Elementary Education, Diverse Learners, and Special Education Mild Intervention at Butler University. While working toward my undergraduate degree, I worked in many areas of education, and with a wide range of students. I have worked with students as young as seven months and as old as seventeen. I most enjoy working at the elementary and junior high levels in special education. 

When I am not at work, I enjoy watching TV with friends and family. I also like running, reading, and baking!
