The CHAMPS behavior system is a positive classroom management approach that helps students clearly understand what is expected of them during different activities. Before an activity, students are taught expectations such as when they may talk, how to ask for help, whether they can move around the room, and what appropriate participation looks like. The goal is to create a predictable, supportive classroom environment where students know what to do and can be successful.
