Canvas by Instructure

Canvas is a learning managment system (LMS) that allows educators, students, and learning institutions to access and manage online course materials. It can be used to create and present online learning materials, assess student learning, and communicate about learning achievement and skill development. Canvas can also be used to create virtual classrooms, which can make lectures more engaging. Parents can also be given observer accounts to view their student's daily grades, assignments, and more. 

Many CISD teachers use this platform for both in school and at home learning opportunities. Canvas can be accessed through your child's SSO and parent accounts can be accessed through the CISD Website.
