Engaging with Nature - Practical Exercises
Below are some simple, effective, and well studied interventions/exercises to help you connect with nature and experience the benefits of nature!

Look at Nature Photos
How/What: This one is simple - just search up nature photos or make an album on your phone of photos of nature.
Notice Nature in the Everyday
How/What: This one is also simple - when you are doing everything you would normally do in a day - pay attention to where nature is. This means when you drive to work, look at the trees beside the bank or the patch of grass beside the bus stop.
Spend time in Nature (Nature Bathing)
How/What: Go into a park or other area with nature around and pay attention to it and how it makes you feel.
Elicit Awe through Nature
How/What: Go to a natural landmark that is something big or unique - examples are mountains, waterfalls, forests, lakes, the ocean etc., things that can elicit awe.
