Self compassion is not self esteem ( our sense of self worth)

Self compassion involves self kindness, common humanity and mindfulness.

Showing up for yourself

We thought it would be good to encourage students to show up for themselves. Classes are online and the semester is getting busier. We hope that video will bring some encouragement to fellow students. Also for you to remember you are your own responsibility and before taking care of anything or anyone else, you have to take care of yourself first.

Tip: Some of the workout options (eg. Barre) do not provide a warm-up prior to starting exercise. Please ensure you are doing an adequate warm up prior to exercise. An adequate warm up should include raising the heartrate and dynamic stretching for each muscle group.
