For my 30 day challenge, I am going to do 30 pages of art. Water color, collage, pen, ect. This is an important challenge to me because I can feel my brain slowly turning into mush by the amount of brain rot I am consuming online. So I figured that this challenge will keep me off my phone more and interacting with creativity.
I walk and hike a lot, but I do very little strength training. I am committing to do at least 15 minutes of weight training every day for April. I want to be stronger and improve my bone health. I am hoping that the challenge will kickstart a new daily habit. I also love Compass and want to contribute to the school.
My goal is to walk at least 15 minutes everyday for the month of April. The activity will support my mental and physical health, for both are something I want to work on. SUPPORT NEEDED (please)
I have decided to do a quick portrait study by sketching a different person everyday for the month of April. The goal of this practice is to develop a quick sketch style and gain a better understanding of different faces and people.
Thirty days of Loving Kindness Meditation. Each day, I will commit to at least 10 minutes of loving kindness meditation practice. The world seems full of anger, misunderstanding, and hurt. I'm a beginning fiddler, and am going to university for Music, Business, and Industry through Lyndon State, so I think it's best if I can play well, right? I would like to challenge myself to learn 4 or 5 songs a week. Not only will it be fun, and expand my catalog, but it will help me prepare for my senior project; busking along the east coast as a promotional campaign and for donations. I care about this school, and about fundraising for this place! Its a lot easier, and more fun to do so through a medium that I enjoy! I'm also a beginning musician and I want to improve my skills!
My challenge is to do at least 30 burpees on each of the 30 days of April. I also hope to push a bit beyond that average in order to complete 1000 burpees over the course of the month. Though I am an active person in my daily life, I have never been motivated to do much strength training. This goal will challenge me to be active in a different, and very healthy, way. It will be good for my physical health, and I will be sore!
Haiku for me is about seeing, realizing, having an insight or transformation. It is about breaking a pattern and going to unexpected places. It is about lifting a clear image out of the mud.
April has 30 days ....so: 30 haikus!
Tattered grey pages
This book seems same old same old
Now write something new!
I am going to do 10 push-ups increasing in difficulty for each day. I'm doing this because I have always wanted to be able to do push ups and be stronger.
My goal is to learn 30 different words in Polish in 30 days. My family is Polish, and I thought it would be fun to learn a different language.
My goal is to make an aimable potato projector. I haven’t made a projectile-fits-bore launch system before, and I like the challenge of this project.
My goal is to learn and practice guitar throughout the month of April. I want to have all the chords memorized and be able to play them with ease.
I will be taking 30 photos that help people learn Spanish words and journaling about them during our trip to Puerto Rico. I'm doing this because I will be in Puerto Rico, and it will be a fun way to connect with home.

I will explore a new place and take a picture everyday, make a slideshow at the end of the month to show all of the new places I've explored. 30 places explored in 30 days.
My challenge is to finish 30 watercolor paintings by the end of April. I chose this challenge because I would like to get better at watercolor. I do a lot of different kinds of art but I have never really explored watercolor. I hope that by the end of the month I will have a better understanding of watercolor.
I'll be learning Russian with apps and videos. I chose it because it’s useful for my personal history project, and it’ll help my academic experience.
I will be learning to unicycle. I am starting with some basic skill (I can inconsistantly pedal 4 feet). My goal is to have pedaled 30 ft 30 times by the end of April. I chose this challenge because I have tried and failed to learn to unicycle in the past. I believe this specific goal will empower me in learning to unicycle
My goal is to work on my overall physical health. To do this, I aim to walk 30 miles and do 300 push ups, sit ups, and squats over the course of April. I hope this helps me build healthy habits as well as gets me into better, healthier shape.
I aim to be able to walk a mile by April 30th following recovery from hip surgery. I had both hips replaced on March 18th and will be recovering throughout April.
I will complete 30 sit ups each day for the 30 days. Having a stronger body is important to me and is beneficial to my health. I will be completing part of my challenge with the 11th graders during The Global Connections Trip to Puerto Rico! I wanted to choose something I could do anywhere. The flexibility of this task was critical in me choosing it.
