Peels of laughter break
Above the shining green waves
Salt body, bright air

Clutter of voices
Quiets as we circle up
The soup holds secrets
Ribs
Water bends the trees
Our vessel yearns for water
Bending and yearning

Ear on the warm earth
Fingers in the cold current
Whole body listening

Now open your book
The walls are disassembled
With every fresh page
