A bit about me!
Well, my name is Elbe and I am a 10th grader at the Compass school. During all school meeting a heard about the 30 for 30 challenge and I was intrigued because I don’t usually do challenges. I wanted to do an art challenge because I like art and I want to improve my quick sketching skills. When I usually do a drawing I spend hours on in and don't ever do any very quick. I'm very excited to start this challenge and I think that it will be fun. I really love the Compass School so I'm glad that I can do something that will help support the community and teach me something new.
Day 1
I was super excited to start my drawing when I got home today. It took me around 9 minutes.
Day 2
This sketch took me 8 minutes. for my next drawing I really want to try to do one quick. I think im focusing to much on the details instead of getting a basic sketch of the reference.
Day 3
I don't really like this sketch. I did it very quick though, I suppose it just looks a bit rough
Day 4
I am very happy with this dawing, its very simple which I like. I think it has a lot of depth, like i just know this guy has a strong accent and has some good stories.
Day 5
Nothing much to say about this drawing.

This sketch took me probably 10 minutes, the hair took awhile and then I started adding to many details. Definitely not my favorite.
Day 8
this drawing is very simple, I don't really like how I did the eyes but I like the piercings
Day 9
This drawing look like a witch. I did it relatively quick, didn't really do into to much detail.

I wanted to try and do some quick colored pencil sketches. I really like the colors of this drawing and I think it came out pretty good.
Day 14
Another colored pencil sketch, this one is really silly looking because the reference was from a 0.5 angle.
I did not finish the full 30 day challenge. I only did 14 drawings. It was hard to keep up with everything because of all the work we have in other classes. My favorite drawing I made was probably day 13 and day 4. I like the colors and the silly face for day number 13. number 4 is reallu chill looking and I like the style. I suppose I gained a better understanding of how to sketch quickly.
