Little Bit About Me!
My name is Cinnamon, I am 15 years old and in 9th grade at Compass. I heard about Thirty by Thirty from small side conversations during class, and wanted to learn more. I loved the opportunity to do something personal in order to help my school. After a short time, I had decided that it would be nice to do something that impacted me in a positive way. Walking has been something i want to do more and more, but recently I was informed of a medical issue that i had, which took a tole on me and realized what I was doing to my body wasn't right. So I have stared a weight loss journey. Not only will Thirty by Thirty help me commit to something, but also will help my medical and mental situation. I hope you support me, it would mean the world. Compass has been the only place I have felt at ease with myself, and i cant risk losing it. Stay tuned, for I will be uploading images of my journeys as often as possible.
Day 1: I usually walk when i got home from school, but the weather was so nice I went for a few laps around our lovely school building, which has a lot of beautiful and pretty sights to see. I got some cool pictures that I will upload here! When I get home I will probably do more walking, soince I've started to pick up trash with every walk I go on. Sadly, I did pick up a dead bird the other day.... yuck.
Day 2:
I didn't write for the real day two, but we walked from compass school all the way to the Bellows falls Opera House to watch Matilda. It was so good and Mrs. Trenchbul had BIG BOOBs. Very funny.
Days 3-7
So, I did not update on individual days, but here is an update involving every day I missed. Day three I walked around outside of my house and took some pictures, along with outside at school with my headphones blasting Dancing Queen by ABBA on repeat. (I'll add every photo below). Day four was a Friday (woo hoo) and I just did a nice long walk around my school, taking pictures of birds and another stuff I found interesting. Day five and six were weekend days, so I did some walking at home and hung around there. I was feeling really sick on five and six, but anything to help my school. Day seven is today! I went for a walk outside of my school, but decided to go on a little adventure(I got permission don't worry) and walked out back where the frog pond is. There was a lot of cool sights to see and I took some cool photos. HONORABLE MENTION!!: I took a LOT of photos of frogs, a LOT, so I'll add a few of those here too. I wont be in school for day eight, but trust that I will still do my walk, maybe with my mom this time.
Day 8-30
I did not write as often as I planned on, but walking takes up a lot more time then I thought. I did end up walking everyday, whether it was nice out or not. I even had medical issues that I didn't let stop me. Now, I don't recall all the days I walked but I have some highlights and picture I will add. My favorite time I was walking was when I went to Maine for a night and I walked on the beach for at least an hour or so each time. I loved it and it was beautiful, I even found a few sand dollars! The next highlight was when I walked with a few friends of mine, Elbe, Abby, and Max, down to the graveyard near their house, and some spooky stuff happened.
