Luggage Allowance
For United Airline, please check www.united.com Travel Information Baggage Information or Google “United Airline Luggage Limitations”. You will find info about checked baggage and carry-on baggage. Please don’t pack knives of any size and cutting instruments of any kind. The international flights allow one carry-on bag, one personal item (purse, laptop, etc.) and two pieces of checked luggage. Each checked piece can be up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
For flying from Taiwan to Japan, we are allowed one piece of check-in luggage for up to 44 lbs and one piece carry-on under 50 lbs. The luggage we check in from Columbus should be less than 44 lbs (20 kg). Overweight luggage will be very hard to handle for flying from Taiwan to Japan. The luggage needs to be manageable for hauling. For more information, please visit:

Regarding attire for the trip, students are required to strictly follow the school dress code when visiting the school and attending the meeting with the former president of Taiwan. For the remaining time, students may opt for comfortable yet appropriate attire. This includes casual clothing such as T-shirts, joggers, and athletic shoes, but it's essential that these garments are clean and modestly covered.
