Keep in mind that it may take several business days for the bank to process and have the money ready for pick-up.
To cover potential expenses, You can bring $500~1000 NTD (approximately 20~40 USD) and $3000~6000 JPY (equivalent to around 20~40 USD) for shopping for local souvenirs.
In addition to the local currency, students can have $100 USD in cash or a credit/debit card for any immediate needs at the airports, such as purchasing food or drinks.
