SPARC (Student Parent Advocacy & Resource Center) is a pilot program for College Unbound student-parents who are affiliated with the cohorts in Rhode Island with the hope of expanding this work to other sites as CU continues to grow. SPARC is a collaborative effort between student-parents at CU to provide mutual aid and support for one another.
Two CU Student Parent Coaches, Shannon Vongsavang and Jabraya Tanksley, created SPARC as a dedicated hub and support center specifically for pregnant and parenting students.
