The Personal Learning Plan (PLP)
is a guide for student ownership of learning through ongoing goal setting and planning. Each CU student continuously works on their PLP via a Semester template (linked below), that serves as a live document for 3 main components of learning each semester:
Reflection
Weekly planning for courses & projects
Communication hub with faculty
Each week, students reflect on their experiences and articulate weekly goals, including tasks progressing the CU project and goals in other courses. Lab faculty and students use this document as a guide for weekly 1:1 meetings.
Although this starts as a template, PLPS end as evidence of a student's CU journey, full of details that can be used for Big10 examples/evidence.
