Aspen®

https://ma-hec.myfollett.com/aspen/home.do

Follett Aspen® is CES's student information system. Teachers, Teaching Coordinators, Title I Specialists, Education Assessment Coordinators, Education & Career Counselors, and administrators use it, as do Special Educators, to document and share academic information about students in residential programs and the community. These data are used regularly for Learning Team meetings, Title I eligibility determinations, development of IEPs, and reporting.

How To Make Sure Your Web Browser’s Pop-Up Blocker Is Not Interfering With Aspen

Make sure you are using the Chrome web browser to access Aspen (CES is not supporting other browsers). You may find that at times Aspen does not perform the way described in the written directions or how you remember it working on a previous computer. Chrome's built-in pop-up blocker can cause numerous problems. Follow the directions below to prevent these problems.

  1. Click on the icon that looks like three dots in the upper right hand corner, on the menu that opens, choose ‘Settings

  2. On the ‘Settings’ tab that opens, scroll down and click on “Advanced”.

  3. Scroll down to where it reads  ‘Privacy ’ click on the button on the left that reads ‘Content Settings’

  4. In the ‘Content Settings’ window that opens scroll down to the label ‘Pop-ups’ and click on the button that reads ‘Manage exceptions’

  5. In the empty window that reads “[*.]example.com” type in ‘ma-hec.myfollett.com’, make sure the drop-down next to it is set to “Allow”

  6. In the ‘Pop-up Exceptions’ window click on the button at the bottom that reads ‘Done’

  7. In the ‘Content Settings’ window click on the button at the bottom that reads ‘Done’

  8. Close the ‘Settings’ tab that is still open.
